where applicable on a new plan, begins 30 days after your effective date.
Is there a Deductible or any Co-Insurance?

It is simple. Pay for the visit at the time you receive services. Take a claim form
veterinarian's office and have your Veterinarian fill out Section 2. You fill out the rest of the form and send it to us along with a copy of the itemized
invoice. You can send the completed form by email, mail or fax
We process claims within 30 days of receipt of all necessary documents. The AKC Pet Healthcare Plan reimburses you directly for claims.
Will my insurance be cancelled as my pet ages?
No - we want to protect your pet through a long and happy life.
What is a waiting period?
There is a 30 day waiting period for illness coverage and 5 day waiting period for accidents. Which means you will have no coverage for Illness or disease in the first 30-days of policy and no coverage for unforeseen accidents for the first 5 days where applicable. If continuous coverage is maintained, the waiting period will be waived for renewals.
